Pure Blue Japan has chosen to use pure indigo-dyed weft and warp yarns for the weave of this fabric, unlike most jeans which are woven with dyed warp yarns but undyed weft yarns. The outcome is pure, deep indigo denim with a unique shade of purple. The texture of the denim itself is the slubby, rough fabric that has set Pure Blue Japan apart from the other brands we carry. The combination of using pure indigo-dyed yarns for both the wefts and warps produces a fabric whose color tone is deep with potential for a beautiful fade over extended use.

**Available in either Raw or One Wash denim fabric. Raw denim will shrink 1-2 inches around the waist after wash.
